Good news for cricket fans everywhere. The eagerly expected T 20 World Cup just got started. The ICC will host the 2021 T20 Cricket World Cup. This year’s T20 Cricket World Cup is the SEVENTH. Everyone searches for a t20 world cup standings list, and that information is readily available here. 

This event was scheduled to be held by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in Australia from October 18 through November 15, but due to the “Pandemic,” the ICC has suddenly altered its mind and will now hold it from October 17 through November 14, 2021. The competition is being played by 16 teams. India, Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, the West Indies, the Netherlands, Oman, Namibia, Scotland, and Papua New Guinea are among them. ICC T20 World Cup Points Table

There are 16 teams competing in the 8th ICC T20 World Cup, which is presently taking place in Australia. The first round of the competition featured a mix of full members and associate nations competing for a place in the prestigious Super 12 round, where the top eight teams awaited four more competitors. The opening match of Group A was a major upset as Namibia stunned the 2014 champions Sri Lanka. The Asia Cup champions overcame this setback, however, by triumphing in their next two games to take first place in the group. By defeating Namibia and the UAE, the Netherlands contributed to their chances of qualifying. However, the Namibians had an easy challenge because they only needed to defeat UAE to qualify. The opening match of Group B saw Scotland defeat two-time champions West Indies. To add some intrigue to the group, Zimbabwe defeated the Irish but lost to the Windies. Ireland’s victory over Scotland made the final round of games crucial. Ireland overcame West Indies to qualify for the Super 12, while Zimbabwe beat Scotland to get in. Thus, the Super 12’s Group 1 consists of the host nation and reigning champions Australia, the 2010 champions England, the runners-up from the previous year, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Ireland.

Group 2 is made up of the Asian superpowers Bangladesh, South Africa, Netherlands, Zimbabwe, and India.
